The bands foundation stone has already been laid in 2005. Winding paths had to be walked, names were changed and band
members exchanged until Asator finally reached the point they are at today.
Their music shows a wide variety of influences including Black Metal as well as Swedish Death Metal and even Shoegaze and Post Rock.

Because it's a good album. I hear Darkthrone is kind of decent, too. I actually came here to buy the new Inquisition album...got this instead. Contrary to popular monetary trends... ...the future isn't all just SCREAMING FEMALES- though I'm excited for their next studio album release as well.

An interesting fusion of black metal and jazz, with inspiration from various other forms of metal. There is a lot to like here, and many pleasant surprises. However, it does not always seem to form a cohesive whole.
